Terri’s Spicy Vegetable Smoothie

Description

This is so healthy and delicious, I could drink it every day. Compare to commercial vegetable juice; this has no added salt and doesn’t need it. Switch up your veggies, fruits and spices and try different combinations.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup fresh spinach, or more to taste
  • 1 carrot, roughly chopped
  • 1 rib celery
  • 1 small tomato, halved
  • ½ apple, cored
  • ½ lime, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
  • 1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1 pinch salt-free seasoning blend (such as Mrs. Dash® Southwest Chipotle), or to taste
  • 1 dash hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot ®), or to taste
  • 1 dash Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
  • water to cover
