Takes 3 to 5 days to make this wonderful tasting bread. It rivals San Francisco’s Sourdough!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
  • 2 cups bread flour

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 ½ cups sourdough starter
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • 5 ½ cups bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Cook Time: 1 hr 40 mins

Total Time: 4 hrs 40 mins
