Honey Avocado Chicken Salad

My best attempt at duplicating a delicious recipe from a local restaurant. It’s the perfect blend of salty and sweet! Serve as a sandwich on a croissant, sourdough bread, or pretzel bun or with lettuce for a delightful lunchtime treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 ½ cups light mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons light sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey, or more to taste
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 cups chopped cooked chicken breast
  • ¼ cup diced onion
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
