Easy Coleslaw

Description

This sweet and crunchy salad is easy and delicious any time of the year. Double the recipe for large parties.

Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1 ½ large carrots, shredded
  • 1 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup white sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine cabbage
  2. bell pepper
  3. onion
  4. and carrots in a large bowl.
  5. Whisk together vinegar
  6. oil
  7. and sugar in a medium bowl. Pour enough dressing over cabbage mixture to coat; mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours.
  8. Drain any excess liquid
  9. toss
  10. and serve cold.
