Cheddar and Macaroni Salad

Description

This is a good make-ahead side dish for a summer dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup macaroni
  • ¾ cup cubed Cheddar cheese
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • ½ cup frozen green peas, thawed
  • ⅓ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 ½ tablespoons sweet pickle relish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in boiling salted water until done
  2. 7 to 10 minutes. Drain
  3. then rinse macaroni under cold water and drain again.
  4. Combine pasta with cheese
  5. celery
  6. bell pepper
  7. peas
  8. onion
  9. mayonnaise
  10. sour cream
  11. milk
  12. and pickle relish in a large bowl. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving.
