Description
This is a tasty recipe for soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies. Don’t try to double it though, it doesn’t turn out.
Ingredients
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg white
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Cream brown and white sugars with butter in a medium bowl. Stir in vanilla
- egg white
- and water. Sift together flour
- baking soda
- and salt in a separate bowl; stir into creamed mixture. Mix in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned and edges are set
- 8 to 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheets for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
