Mom’s Peach Crisp

Description

My mom and I would often make this yummy and easy peach crisp using her home-canned peaches when I was little.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced fresh peaches
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup cold butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Arrange sliced peaches evenly in an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  3. Mix flour
  4. brown sugar
  5. butter
  6. cinnamon
  7. and salt in a bowl using a pastry cutter until crumbly. Fold oats into flour mixture; sprinkle mixture evenly over peaches
  8. pressing down lightly.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven until crispy and golden brown on top
  10. about 30 minutes.

Cook Time: 30 mins

Total Time: 45 mins
