Basic Pasta

Description

An easy recipe and simple to double or triple, depending on amount needed. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Combine flour and salt in a medium bowl. Make a well in the center and add beaten egg. Mix well until a stiff dough forms
  2. adding up to 2 tablespoons water if needed.
  3. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth
  4. 3 to 4 minutes.
  5. Roll dough by hand or with a pasta machine to desired thickness
  6. then cut into strips of desired width and length.
